VON ALLIN, featured in both Create! Magazine and the Create! Magazine 10th Anniversary Book, is a German conceptual artist whose work extracts the very essence of a feeling, a thought, or a situation. Her unique perspective on life's impalpable essence results in her strong, intimidating—and sometimes playful—art.
Growing up in East Berlin, VON ALLIN developed a desire for freedom and design at an early age. After graduating from Design Akademie Berlin, VON ALLIN pursued her design career with leading German design agencies. Before trading her career in design for fine art, VON ALLIN traveled the world, from Oxford, Great Britain, to Costa Rica.
She experiments with a wide range of different media and techniques, including photography, painting, sculpture, and installations.
The artist draws her inspiration from her personal struggle to understand and cope with certain emotions, thoughts, or situations.
Her journey of capturing the quintessence of life unfolds in her series The Tears Project, Split Canvas Works, and Giant Matches. Her work is organic, minimalistic, and approachable. It expresses the depth of the human soul.
VON ALLIN works with Stephanie Manasseh of SM Art Advisory and Roxana Sava of State Of The Art Agency. She has shown her art at the New York Art Fair, Accessible Art Fair Brussels, Galerie ArtKlub Bonn, Galerie Brotfabrik Bonn, and the group show Wonder Women Now in Boston. She has been published in Create! Magazine, and her work is part of the permanent collection of The Nine in Brussels. ELLE Decoration A-List designers are among her collectors. Her work can be found in private collections around the world.
