Orit Fuchs, featured in both Create! Magazine and the Create! Magazine 10th Anniversary Book, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv. Working across sculpture, painting, typography, illustration, knitting, video, and photography, she moves fluidly between mediums, allowing each idea to find its most precise form.
With a background in art direction for leading Israeli agencies, Fuchs developed a strong visual language that blends clarity, boldness, and a distinct contemporary sensibility. At the core of her work is an ongoing exploration of the female figure, not as a portrait of a specific individual, but as a carrier of emotion, mood, and presence.
Her works often appear composed and minimal, yet hold an underlying complexity that reflects the tension between control and vulnerability within modern life. Fuchs’s work engages with contemporary culture and shifting gender roles, creating images that feel both immediate and timeless.
Her visual language is direct, reduced, and intentional, inviting the viewer into a quiet yet powerful emotional encounter. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, Tokyo, Taiwan, and across Europe, and is held in private collections worldwide.
