Issue #56: The 2026 Women's Edition Is Here

We are pleased to announce the release of Issue #56, the 2026 Women's Edition of Create! Magazine, guest curated by art collector, curator, advisor, lawyer, writer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Sonia Borrell. This issue celebrates contemporary women artists whose practices are shaping the direction of art today, alongside six in-depth interviews exploring personal conviction, creative process, and the realities of contemporary practice.

About Our Guest Curator

Since founding the Tryson Collection in 2008, Sonia Borrell has dedicated her life to discovering talent, nurturing creativity, and curating excellence from Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, and beyond. Her collection has been featured in some of the world's most distinguished museums, including the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art, the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, and the Museo Novecento in Florence. She holds works by leading figurative and contemporary artists including Alex Katz, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, Jaume Plensa, and Robert Nava.

As an art advisor for Art Belina in China and The Althari Group in Saudi Arabia, her commitment to cultivating the Kingdom's art scene has earned recognition in GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Women's Herald, L'Officiel, and more. Through her Soniabblondon brand, she continues to uplift the next generation of artists and collectors in service of advancing the global art scene.

As she puts it: art lovers follow movements, and art collectors move them further.
