Beamie Young

As an international award-winning photographer, I have been creating photographs for the past 45 years. In the past, I shot on black-and-white film and worked in the darkroom. Today, I love using my digital camera and Adobe Photoshop. I enjoy capturing unique tones, patterns, textures, reflections, and light. My passion for black-and-white photography continues to this day.

My inspiration to capture and present an image is not limited in any way to specific subjects. I am interested in the entire visual world and want to share that diverse array so that you may enjoy the excitement that I feel when I see something in an interesting light. I also enjoy the use of double exposure, compositing, and Photoshop, where I strive to create images that imply various narratives, many involving time.
