An evening of work, conversation, and community at the Paradigm Arts Building in Old City, Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA. Create! Magazine and PxP Contemporary are delighted to announce a pop-up exhibition and celebration marking ten years of Create! Magazine. The public is invited to an evening of conversation and connection, with a small selection of work from the magazine’s community on view in person.
The Exhibition
The show brings together thirteen artists: Charles Clary, Grand Prize Winner of the 10th Anniversary Art Prize, along with Charlie Meyers, Neelam Padte, Catherine Dehareng, Jenny Brown, Piya Samant, Kim Tateo, Jodee Gamel, Nicolle Cure, Poonam Khanna, Erika Stearly, Phyllis Gorsen, and Margot Dermody.
Guests are welcome to take their time with the work, meet Create! Magazine founders Kat Popova and Alicia Puig, and speak with featured artists who are able to attend. Copies of Create! Magazine from select years will be available to leaf through. Light fare, snacks, and sparkling water will be served.

Create! Magazine has spent a decade celebrating artists and building a community around their work. This evening is a chance to gather in person, toast the milestone, and meet fellow creatives, collectors, and friends of the magazine.

In addition to running PxP Contemporary, Alicia Puig is the director at Create! Magazine and co-author of the The Complete Smartist Guide and The Creative Business Handbook. She has worked in the arts industry for over 15 years and has written for publications including Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, Art She Says, and Art Spiel, among many others. Additionally, she has served as a guest curator for numerous organizations and institutions such as Rise Art, Hastings College, Repaint History, Visionary Art Collective, I Like Your Work, and Pretty Girls Making Cool Shit.
