Vanessa Wenwieser

Vanessa Wenwieser was born in Munich, Germany, and now lives in Zug, Switzerland. She studied Fine Art Photography at the Glasgow School of Art and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with honours. Vanessa’s work places the female figure at the center of her imagination. In her artworks, women are seen as beings with minds, emotions, and intuitive power. Feelings are exhibited—naked and vulnerable—and she explores them in an imaginative and beautiful way, endeavouring to make people witness the transcendent and the sublime.

She has taken part in numerous virtual group shows as well as physical exhibitions, including The Marvelous Art Gallery, London, England; The Boomer Gallery, London, England; The M.A.D.S. Gallery, Milan, Italy; Capital Culture House, Madrid, Spain; Artbox, Zug, Switzerland; and the Baton Rouge Gallery in Louisiana.

Her work has been published in several magazines, including Aesthetic Magazine, The Flux Review, The Circle Quarterly Art Review, The Marvelous Art Gallery Magazine, and on the front cover of Art Seen Magazine, the title page of Goddessart Magazine, as well as the front and back cover of this year’s Women’s United Art Magazine.

Her work is featured in Sinead McGuigan’s collection of poems, covering the front and back title pages as well as inside the book, and in several beautiful books by Arts to Hearts Projects.

She has also received several art prizes: two from Artrepreneur’s open calls, one from the Capital Culture House, the Marvelous Art Prize, and the Women United Art Prize 2023 for Best Digital Artist. She was a finalist this year in the Photography and Printmaking category and, in addition, was the proud winner of Marvelous Art Group’s ‘Artist of the Year 2025’.
