Mary Davidson
Mary Davidson was born in Pittsfield, MA, and currently lives with her husband in South Egremont, MA. She is a juried member of the Kent Art Association, Kent, CT; New Haven Paint & Clay Club, New Haven, CT; National Association of Women Artists, NY; the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, where she has been awarded Elected Artist Status; and the Spencertown Academy, Spencertown, NY. Mary is also a member of the Guild of Berkshires Artists, which represents artists from Berkshire County.
Mary holds an Associate Degree in Fashion Design from Newbury College, Boston, MA, and has taken drawing and painting classes at Berkshire Community College and IS 183, Stockbridge, MA. She has studied under Don Andrews AWS, Judi Betts AWS, Jim Schantz, and Pat Hogan.
In the past, Mary has been represented by the Lenox Gallery of Fine Art, Lenox, MA; Chatham Gallery, Chatham, NY; 510 Gallery, Warren Street, Hudson, NY; and Vermont Artisans, Main Street, Brattleboro, VT. One of her paintings is currently on display at the Berkshire Museum in the show Art of the Hills. Mary has been juried into many art shows in New England and has won multiple awards, including two “Best in Show.” Many of her paintings are held in private collections.
