Jennifer Warren, featured in AQ Volume VII, is a Chicago-based visual artist with 13+ years of experience in oil painting. Her work engages with strength, beauty, authenticity, and environment themes. Jennifer starred on MTV and the Smithsonian’s docuseries, The Exhibit. She has exhibited her work at Palazzo Bembo, Venice, Italy; The Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago; Silos Gallery 200, Houston, TX; the Martin Gallery, Chicago, IL; the Sidney Larson Gallery, Columbia, MO; and in Saatchi Art’s virtual exhibition. In 2020, Jennifer received the 35 Under 35 Rising Star Award from Saatchi Art. She graduated in 2011 with a BA in International Business and a minor in Visual Arts from Eckerd College. She attended a painting and drawing program at the Leo Marchutz School of Fine Art in France.


Artist Statement

Jennifer’s practice is characterized by playfulness, wit, and humor. She explores mixed media and textiles to create paintings that comment on everyday observations. Her work reflects a passion for incorporating imagination and vision to convey human experience. Jennifer is visually inspired by bright colors, interiors and exteriors, retro design, soft textures, and plants.
