Christine A Beals

Christine Beals is a lifelong resident of the Lansing area whose work is rooted in a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage, and the quiet power of color. After spending much of her career in antiques and furniture restoration, Christine developed a trained eye for the subtle details that make an object truly enduring. This background naturally evolved into her artistic practice, where she brings together vintage sensibilities, spiritual curiosity, and contemporary expression.

Working primarily with wood, thick acrylics, and hard-edge techniques, Christine creates pieces that explore the harmony between color, form, and energy. Her art is born from a desire to transform space—offering viewers a sense of grounding, uplift, and connection. Whether inspired by ancestral themes, nature, or intuitive symbolism, her work invites others to pause, breathe, and feel something true within themselves.

Christine hopes her creations serve as both comfort and inspiration, reminding people that beauty and meaning can emerge from even the most complex layers. She currently lives in Haslett, Michigan, with her husband and their four beloved Bernese Mountain dogs.
