Christine A. Beals, featured in both Create! Magazine and the Create! Magazine 10th Anniversary Book, is a mixed media artist with a deep-rooted appreciation for artistry, craftsmanship, and meaningful design. She spent much of her career working in antiques and furniture restoration, where she developed a keen eye for quality, detail, and the stories embedded in vintage pieces. This hands-on experience shaped not only her aesthetic but also her respect for materials, history, and the transformative power of thoughtful creation.
Her work today is an extension of that foundation, blending artistic exploration with a sense of spiritual expression. Christine is drawn to the interplay of color, texture, and space, creating pieces that feel both intentional and intuitive. Each design reflects her desire to evoke emotion—whether that’s a sense of calm, curiosity, or inspiration—while bringing harmony into the environments they inhabit.
At the heart of her creative process is a simple goal: to make work that resonates. She hopes those who encounter her creations feel a sense of comfort and connection, as well as inspiration to see beauty in their own surroundings.
Christine currently lives in Haslett with her husband and their three Bernese Mountain dogs, who bring constant energy and companionship to her daily life. Together, her home and studio serve as both a grounding place and a source of ongoing creative inspiration.
