Carrie Cantwell

Carrie Cantwell lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her partner and her three rescue cats: NASA, Edie, and Tippy. She enjoys ’80s movies, yoga, oat milk lattes, and synthwave music.

Carrie specializes in creating visually striking designs that resonate with audiences and tell a story. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Arts in English, and a Master’s Certification in Project Management. She is a member of Illustrators For Hire and the Art Brand Alliance.

Before becoming a full-time illustrator, Carrie worked for 16 years as a film and TV graphic designer, creating art for the sets of major motion pictures and award-winning TV shows. In 2016, she was nominated for an Art Director’s Guild award.

Carrie’s work has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, in TED, the AIGA Get Out the Vote Initiative, UPPERCASE Magazine, PAGE Magazine, Peppermint Magazine, Creative Howl, and CreativeMornings. She has exhibited at the Denver Art Museum, AIGA National Design Center, Walker Art Center, and the Museum of Design Atlanta.
