The Untitled Magazine Presents The DREAM Issue Featuring LION BABE, Barbara Fialho, Sorana, Reka Nyari, Reisha Perlmutter, Along with More Than 50 Visionary Artists
The Untitled Magazine is thrilled to present The DREAM Issue, created in tandem with "The DREAM Exhibition" at The Untitled Space. Curated by UNTITLED founder Indira Cesarine, the collector's print edition brings together over 50 contemporary artists alongside an extraordinary group of musicians, designers, photographers, performers, and cultural voices. Together, they explore the many worlds that emerge when imagination is given space to lead.
Available in softcover magazine format and as a limited-edition hardcover coffee-table book, The DREAM Issue will be released on September 25, 2026, to coincide with the official exhibition launch reception at The Untitled Space and an after-party featuring special performances. Advance copies are available for purchase exclusively online from September 18, 2026.
Dreams can be private, mysterious, and deeply personal. They surface through memory, desire, symbolism, fantasy, and the subconscious, revealing what may remain hidden in waking life. But dreams are also declarations of possibility. They are the visions carried forward, the futures waiting to be manifested, and the first sparks of ideas that have not yet taken form.
At a moment when reality can feel increasingly unstable, the ability to imagine beyond the present is more vital than ever. Artists allow audiences to cross that threshold. They give shape to the unseen, transform memory into material, and create worlds that challenge the limits of what is considered possible. Across painting, photography, sculpture, collage, video, installation, fashion, and music, the contributors to The DREAM Issue approach dreaming not as an escape from reality, but as a means of reinterpreting and transforming it.

Cover Stories and Special Features
The issue's special features reflect that spirit of fearless self-invention. Cover artists LION BABE appear in an intimate conversation about music, family, creative freedom, and the evolving visual universe behind the New York duo. Photographed by Cesarine, singer Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman reflect on their creative partnership and their dream of building LION BABE into "a whole world" shaped by magic, self-love, and connection.
Brazilian supermodel and musician Barbara Fialho also appears in a cover story reflecting on a remarkable journey that began with a childhood guitar and led from the world's most celebrated runways back to her earliest love of music. Singer, songwriter, and designer Sorana shares her extraordinary path from Transylvania to Los Angeles, tracing how a seemingly impossible childhood ambition became a global career generating billions of streams. Cesarine photographed Sorana for the issue wearing the musician's own designs alongside pieces from The Untitled Boutique.
DJ and producer Mia Moretti discusses storytelling through sound and the creative freedom of building her own label. DeathbyRomy takes readers inside the beauty, darkness, vulnerability, and experimentation of her forthcoming album, "Teenage Fever Dream." Brooklyn Museum curator Matthew Yokobosky discusses "Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses" and the designer's groundbreaking dialogue among craftsmanship, technology, nature, and the body. Photographer Stockton Johnson's "Anatomy of a Veil" transforms concealment, movement, and material into a compelling fashion narrative.
Contemporary Art at the Heart of the Issue
Contemporary art forms the heart of The DREAM Issue. Its major artist interviews move through water, ritual, mythology, embodiment, identity, humor, transformation, and imagined worlds, offering distinct perspectives on what it means to create from a place beyond ordinary perception.
Photographer and mixed-media artist Reka Nyari appears on the Art Edition cover with work from "Immortal Ink," her series of monumental portraits reimagining tattooed women as goddesses and creators. An eight-page feature with painter, freediver, and underwater photographer Reisha Perlmutter considers the meeting point of body, water, perception, and memory through luminous figures suspended beneath shifting surfaces and refracted light. Artist Airco Caravan creates protest art disguised as irresistible consumer products, pairing candy-colored surfaces with pointed social and political commentary. Mexican painter Carolina Pavia constructs psychological worlds rooted in surrealism, in which women cross thresholds, emerge from cocoons, and merge with flowers, insects, and animals. These artists represent just a few of the compelling voices featured in the issue and exhibition, whose works provoke, inspire, and invite audiences to imagine beyond the boundaries of the familiar.
Across the issue, submerged bodies, fragmented identities, celestial landscapes, hidden gardens, alternative futures, mythological figures, hybrid beings, and portals into unfamiliar realities move between the intimate and the cosmic. Some works originate in literal dreams; others emerge from intuition, meditation, personal memory, or the determination to envision a different world. Together, they reveal the subconscious not as a distant realm, but as a powerful creative language.

"As an artist and creative, I have always been inspired by both the subconscious world of dreams and the visions that compel us to create, transform, and reach beyond our reality," Cesarine shares. "My own work has long explored symbolism, memory, fantasy, identity, and the subconscious. Looking back, I feel I may have been manifesting this issue for years. It has been an incredible journey collaborating with so many visionary artists to bring it to life."
Every act of creation begins with something intangible: an impulse, an image, a question, a dream. The DREAM Issue celebrates those willing to follow that vision and bring it into the world.

"The DREAM Exhibition" extends the vision of the publication into The Untitled Space, transforming the magazine's pages into a lived experience. On view from September 21 through October 3, 2026, the exhibition allows its artworks, narratives, and imagined worlds to enter into conversation throughout the gallery.
The exhibition and The DREAM Issue will officially launch with a reception on Friday, September 25, beginning with a VIP and press preview from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by an opening reception from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. An after-party featuring special performances will follow, with additional details to be announced.
