Sandra Attales

Sandra Attales is primarily a botanical and landscape artist. Her most recent paintings address the themes of identity, place, and story. Sandra is represented by Savannah College of Art and Design’s Gustein Gallery in Savannah, GA, and Gallery 85 in Chelsea, NY.

When she's not creating art, Sandra dedicates her time to nurturing her family. She is a devoted mom of three. Her studio is based in Lake Charles, Louisiana.


Artist Statement

The enchanting beauty of my childhood in the Florida Keys, paired with my mother's captivating stories about her Windley Key home, ignited a creative vision: Windley Key House and salt-scented mangroves within a mile of my home. The islands instilled in me a profound love and lasting romance, which flows and changes like the tides. I delighted in the expansive ocean views, the close-knit community, and the intoxicating fragrance of night-blooming jasmine.
