Lauren Lane
I’m Lauren Lane, a figurative and abstract painter based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work centers on light, joy, and resilience, drawing from the everyday moments that shape who we become. I create vibrant oil paintings that celebrate people from a place of freedom, dignity, and hope.
My approach is rooted in the belief that when we shift how we see ourselves, we shift how we move through the world. Color plays a huge role in that for me. It’s my way of speaking life, possibility, and joy into each piece.
Beyond the canvas, I’m committed to helping people feel seen, inspired, and encouraged to pursue what lights them up. My goal is to create work that brings peace into everyday spaces while reminding people of their own beauty, strength, and story.
Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between faith, identity, and the quiet unfolding of becoming. I paint the moments we often overlook, the pauses, the waiting, the breath between what was and what will be. These seasons of uncertainty and stillness reveal their own kind of beauty, and I’m drawn to the resilience, peace, and joy that rise from them.
Color is my language. Vibrant hues help reframe tender or challenging experiences through the lens of hope. Many of my recent pieces are an invitation to trust in the unseen work happening beneath the surface.
At its core, my work is about resilience, hope, and the possibilities that live inside every season of life. My desire is that viewers feel encouraged to see themselves with more compassion and recognize the quiet strength, joy, and potential in their own becoming.
