Artist Statement
In my art, I aim to capture emotions and their stories, giving them form on a canvas. I work mostly in acrylics and oils. I observe people and their behavior, trying to discover emotions we hide, disguise, and do not want to admit to anyone that we feel. I dress these emotions into forms, objects, and elements of a landscape. My art tells stories about us—humans—and about our feelings and fears. It is an exploration of reasons and consequences.
